Reiner Schneeberger

A stone bust painting of HWF, portrait, highly detailed, Mondrian, computer art, 4K, 8K, unreal engine, octane rendering, HD --ar 5:3 --seed 18.

A monument in digital art, connecting the life of Herbert W. Franke from the time I first met him in 1975 to the end. The background reflects to the Mondrian art machine he developed in 1979. I placed him in front of it, but the machine and all the things he invented and the insights he published is mapped also on his face. For the mapping of Franke I used mid journey AI, a text to paint software that is in the year 2022 state of the art.

When I made my first text-paintings at high school 50 years ago I used printers supporting the IBM EBCDIC code. Then it came to plotted poems and now we are heading to a new way of visual generation, the generations of paintings and visual art by reinforcement learning.

For the work “A Stone Bust Painting of HWF” I claim the text: <image HWF> portrait, highly detailed, mondrian, computer art, 4K, 8K, unreal engine, octane rendering, HD –ar 5:3 –seed 18. The image of HWF is located at https://s.mj.run/qKXE8u0Pp1k.

HWF supported the constitution of the Sergius Both Award, which was given for the first time in 2022 at America Art. Sergius Both is the avatar name of Herbert W. Franke where he met me under my name Kunst Blau. The full documentation about the “Stone bust painting of HWF” (also as an NFT) is to be found at m1j.sergiusboth.com.
